Ian Cullen
I first became a fan of Ian Cullen when he played the young D.C. Skinner in the very popular television series "Z Cars" which ran for a very long time. He now plays characters aged between 45 and 60.
Ian was was born in West Boldon and first trod the boards at the age of four in a village panto, I think in the Aubrey Leek Hall and has been an actor ever since. He was educated at Washington Grammer School then trained as an actor at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. More than thirty years ago he married the actress Yvonne Quenet who is also from West Boldon and they have three daughters, Emma, Anne Marie, and Adele.
More recently he has appeared for two years as Angus Hart in "Family Affairs on Channel 5, "Harber Lights", "Badger" and "I Love You Jimmy Spud"
